In fact, our prices are so low that people often ask if the parts are new or "What's the catch?" The catch is that we don't normally accept returns on electronic parts or installed parts. People will call us about our return policy and say "I REALLY like your low price, but I can buy this part at Repair Clinic or some other places and return it if it does not solve my problem" and we point out that in most cases, these vendors are charging MUCH more for the same part. What happens if you were right in your diagnosis? Then you paid a lot more for that part than you needed to!
We have now started offering a 2-tier pricing system on many electronic parts, where we WILL allow you to "buy it and try it" if you opt for the insurance. By taking this option, we agree to take the part back for ANY REASON. We only ask that you notify us within 90 days of your purchase. However- if you are confident that you have properly diagnosed the problem, or it is very obvious that you need the part you are thinking of buying, don't pay the higher price! We can save you a LOT OF MONEY by not forcing every customer to pay for the ones that might want to return an installed part. What's more, our "buy it try it" prices are still much less than Repair Clinic or AP Pros everyday prices.
